Interior Design Project

Project Description

Intermediate – Advanced. Design Decisions is used for all 4 levels of project completion. Develop a designer’s touch by navigating through four exciting sections. In Level 1, learn and apply basic design concepts to walls, windows and floors. Level 2 explores how to design with style as youth plan, select and care for furniture, fabrics and decorative items for a room. Level 3 is all about accessories and adding personality and interest to a room. Level 4 challenges youth to create a home that is healthy, energy efficient, and conserves natural resources.

*** Please note, if you do not attend at least one workshop in your project area during the 4-H year, you will be required to complete activities in your project book and turn it in with your record book. The number of activities required to complete a 4-H year in each project book can be found here.

What needs to be accomplished to move on to level 2?

• Complete project book requirements
• Attend Home Environment workshops
• Complete the Home Environment project form for your record book, and give to the Home Environment Superintendent for review
• Submit at least (1) Home Environment entry at the Lewis & Clark County Fair
