2024 Indoor Project Auction
The Indoor Project Auction is on Saturday, July 27th at 3:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall at the Fairgrounds.
Buyer registration starts at 2:30 p.m. Returning and new buyers need to check in to confirm buyer information and to receive your bidding number.

What is being auctioned off?
4-H members are able to auction off up to five projects they have made this year. Past items that have been auctioned off consist of food items, woodworking projects, welding projects, photography projects, visual arts projects and sewing projects.

IMPORTANT: Our kids work hard on their projects for the auction and so to ensure timely payment, we've put a payment policy in place: "Payment is due on the day of sale unless arrangements have been made by the buyer with the Extension Office prior to the date of the Indoor Project Auction." 2024 Livestock Sale
The Livestock Sale is on Saturday, July 27th at 9:00 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Sales Arena at the Fairgrounds.
Buyer registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Returning and new buyers need to check in to confirm buyer information and receive your bidding number.
There is a buyers lunch underneath the Multi-Purpose Sales Arena between 12:00 p.m.- 2:30 p.m.

Order for the Livestock Sale
- Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion will sell first within the species in this order: rabbit, poultry, 1st half of swine, beef, goat, sheep and 2nd half of swine.

Add-On Form
- If you would like to add on to a member and want to be announced during the sale the form needs to be turned in by Wednesday, July 24th at 12:00 p.m. to the Extension Office or emailed to lewisclark@montana.edu (make sure you receive a response that it was received). Pocket Bid Form
- If you are unable to attend the Livestock Sale and would still like to bid you can submit a pocket bid form and we will have designated person bid for you. This form is due by Wednesday, July 24th at 12:00 p.m. to the Extension Office or emailed to lewisclark@montana.edu (make sure you receive a response that it was received). - All animals, except poultry and rabbit, will be processed, cut, and packaged completed by the processor of your choice at one of the following locations:
- K & S Meats (Beef & Swine Only)
- Old Salt (Sheep & Goat only)
- Tizer (All Species)

What is a Re-bid?
- Buyer donates the animal back which is auctioned again with the money going to the 4-H Foundation. Buyer does not pay slaughter fee and will not receive the meat.
What is a Resale?
- Buyer pays full sale price at auction and receives back resale price. Buyer does not pay slaughter fee and will not receive the meat.
